Independent Mortgage Advice Bureau was founded in May 1997. We opened our first high street mortgage "shop" in January 1999 offering customers independent and expert advice on thousands of mortgage deals under one roof. We now have 9 shops throughout Herts, Beds and Bucks, together with several other office premises.

At Independent Mortgage Advice Bureau, we know that mortgages can be confusing. Our professional and experienced advisers are here to lead you through the minefield of UK mortgages, mortgage lenders and mortgage rates, and will match your requirements to the perfect product.

As we are an independent mortgage broker, we are not influenced by any bank, building society or estate agency and are therefore able to recommend the mortgage that really is most suitable for you.

Our mortgage service is completely independent and there is no need to pay us a fee as we are paid commission by the lender. (If you prefer, you can choose to pay us a fee, usually 0.4% of the loan and we will pass on the lender's commission to you).

The FSA do not regulate some forms of mortgage.
