Fesal, Yasmeen and Ali were trying out
their luck as newcomers to the Hemel
market. Their stall, called Odds and Ends
does what it says on the can. They stock
fashion / costume jewellery, luxury shawls, stationery, batteries, kitchen ware and a whole lot more. It's one of those stalls you could easily pass by without noticing - but well worth a closer look. The prices are incredibly cheap. In fact, I picked up a cluster
of hair 'bobbles' in an array of designs for just £1. That's what I call a bargain! The boys and their mum said business wasn't too good because people weren't stopping to look properly, but they were going to soldier on for a few weeks.

"Also," added Liz, "It's a theives paradise. There's so many places to hide."
