THE annual Box Moor Trust Conker Festival was held on Sunday 19th October on Blackbirds Moor.
The event was well attended with plenty of locals supporting the many charities involved.
The Conker Competition attracted many entrants, both adults and children who had great fun and kept the crowds amused with their efforts!
Children enjoyed a variety of activities including pottery, face-painting and hook-a-duck, whilst many of the adults tried their hand at archery.
The children were further amused by Julian the Juggling clown and music was provided by the Jolly Jazzers.
Among the charities and organisations taking part in the event were the Hospice of St Francis, Cats Protection, the RSPB, Ian Rennie, Friends of the Earth and Dacorum Heritage Trust.
The afternoon was a roaring success thanks to those who took part and all the supporters.
