There are 12 community centres throughout Dacorum, usually run by the community for the community.

As well as a wide range of programmed activities for their local area, the centres all have rooms available for hire for a one off event, or for a new regular activity for the community.

Tring Community Centre is alongside the shops with ample car parking.

Our well presented main hall (holds up to 190 people) is ideal for a variety of events including Keep Fit, Bingo, Slimming Groups, and Karate. The hall has the flexibility to be partitioned off. In addition to our main we have a small hall which can be used for smaller group activities and is ideal for small family parties (holds up to 80 people) and the Purple Room which is ideal for holding meetings. A small grassed area is also available outside the main hall.

With each booking we offer free use of our servery, including the use of our crockery, cutlery and water urn. Plenty of table and chairs (including children sized) are also available. The centre offers a varied programme of regular activities including, Tring Pre-School, Senior Citizens Club, Lunch Club, Leisure 50+ classes, British Legion and Holiday Playschemes.

Leverstock Green Village Hall, off Leverstock Green Road by Village Shops, near M1 (J 8), with easy parking.

Main Hall with stage (200 people) for large clubs, wedding receptions and family parties, Small Hall (60 people), for children's party or smaller clubs to meet. Committee room up to 30 people.

Regular Clubs include Mother and Toddlers, Tumble Tots, Playgroup, mini music, Women's Institutes, Martial Arts, Indoor bowls, Table Tennis, Keep Fit, Yoga, Ballet, Badminton, Weight Watchers, L G Players Entertainment Group, Machine Knitting, Flower arranging, Fuchsia, Art, Model Flying, Keyboard, Movie makers, Youth Club, Over 60's, Wine Club, Over 60's club.

The Village Hall is the home of the Leverstock Green Village Association which exists to improve the quality of life for local people. It concerns itself with the needs of the neighbourhood and presents the communities point of view to the outside world.

Run by a Committee of local people, all work for the Association is voluntary and the only qualification for potential Committee members is enthusiasm. If you can help the Association please phone. Events include Summer Fete, Firework Displays, Carol Concert, Quiz Night and fun evenings.

Warners End Community Centre is at the top of Northridge Way, behind the shops at Stoneycroft, with ample car parking.

We pride ourselves on a well presented, clean and friendly Centre with hiring space for any occasion. The Main Hall has a capacity of 150-180 with a stage and a bar area. The kitchen is located off the main hall and ideal for laying out a buffet meal. All in all, an ideal venue for your celebration party, wedding etc. We have three further rooms each seating approximately 30-60 people, used mainly for meetings and smaller gatherings including children's parties, Christenings etc.

The Centre offers varied programme of regular activities, including:- Playgroup, parent and toddlers, sequence dancing, line dancing, keep fit, over 50's activities, yoga, baby clinics, flower arranging, and bingo. We have the benefit of being next to Northridge Park, used for our Summer Fetes.

The Association is a registered charity and is operated by a voluntary committee who meet monthly to discuss the business and to organise events and activities. If you would like to get involved or have ideas for new activities please telephone us.

The Centre is located at The Nap, Kings Langley, Hertfordshire WD4 8ET.

It has a large hall with a polished wooden floor and a stage at one end. it is served by a large well equipped kitchen and a licensed bar in a separate foyer area is available if required. It can seat 240 people for meetings and stage presentations and is suitable for up to 140 people for functions which serve food and/or include dancing. There is ample free parking on site.

There is also a small hall which can accomodate up to 40 people. This hall has its own small kitchen suitable for serving light refreshments.
